Josh Nesbit
Executive Director, Co-founder
Inspired by volunteer village health workers in rural Malawi, Josh is firmly committed to serving a global community. As an international health and bioethics student at Stanford, Josh’s qualitative research focused on Pediatric HIV. He is an Echoing Green Fellow, PopTech Fellow, Rainer Arnhold Fellow, Strauss Scholar, and Haas Public Service Fellow. Josh’s role is to connect people, spearhead partnerships, and let the world know what FrontlineSMS:Medic is all about.

Isaac Holeman
Field Work, Co-founder
Isaac occupies himself with global health to meet colleagues, mHealth for tools, anthropology for insight, and Christianity for motivation. He studied Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Lewis & Clark and eventually will pursue an MD. He is an Echoing Green Fellow, Pamplin Fellow and a Compton Mentor Fellow. He hails from Oregon and will be based out of Malawi and throughout East Africa in 2009-2010. Isaac is the primary contact for implementation questions.

Nadim Mahmud
Research Director, Co-founder
Nadim is a second-year medical student at Stanford University School of Medicine, and has a vested interest in public health and need-based collaborative solutions for healthcare systems. He graduated from Yale University with a B.S./M.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and plans to pursue an MPH. Over the next year, he will be operating out of Mexico, Bangladesh, and Stanford. Contact Nadim for inquiries regarding academic collaborations and studies for internal monitoring.

Dieterich Lawson
Lead Developer
Dieterich is a third year biochemistry and molecular biology student at Lewis & Clark in Portland, Oregon, where he has been recognized as a Trustee Scholar and a Pamplin Fellow. He has worked on projects in several programming languages, and was the sole creator of an award winning iphone app. His long term interests revolve around the intersection between informatics and neuroscience, and he enjoys DIY, electronic music, and biking.
